Find the sum of all the multiples of 3 or 5 below 1000.

# Python

```
ans = 0
for n in range(1, 1000):
if (n % 3 == 0) or (n % 5 == 0):
ans += n
print(ans)
```

```
## 233168
```

# R

```
x <- 1:999
sum(x[x %% 3 == 0 | x %% 5 == 0])
```

```
## [1] 233168
